One of the baddest Mustangs, the Lee Iacocca Silver Mustang is one of the finest muscle cars ever created. To celebrate 45 years of the Ford Mustang and it's designer Lee Iacocca, this perfect custom Mustang was constructed. Galpin Ford and Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters designed and crafted this Mustang. Only 45 of these Lee Iacocca Silver Mustangs were made in 2009. Making it a very one of a kind Mustang.
There were two power options available if you bought one. A normally aspirated 4.6 liter V8 making 320 horsepower and an optional supercharged version making 400 horsepower. It was backed by a quick shifting five speed manual transmission and Ford Racing Handling Package. Another option was an 14-inch Ford Racing braking package.
Inside is a custom interior showing the essence of Lee Iacocca, flaunting luxurious leather seats with embroidery stitching. An Iacocca signature dash plaque with serial number is seen, along with a leather wrapped steering wheel with "I" badge, and Iacocca badged aluminum door sill plates. Overall the interior is downright sweet.
Down below I posted some gorgeous pictures of the 2009 Lee Iacocca Silver Mustang. You have to see the Lee Iacocca Silver Mustang in real life to feel the true essence of this custom muscle car. It's obvious that every inch of the car has been perfectly constructed, every line matches up perfectly along with a immaculate paint job.
Turbocharging and supercharging muscle cars is so popular these days, when's the last time you seen a muscle car go down the quarter mile drag strip in 9 seconds. That's why I had to post this video of a Fox body Mustang running a 9.96 at 135mph, just plain bad ass. And what makes this race even more interesting is the Fox body owner is running a carbureted 363 cubic inch (6.0-liter) engine under the pony's hood, that's not an easy thing to do. Originally it was a Ford Racing Boss 302 block, but he then stroked and bored it out.
Definitely one of the most radical custom Mustangs ever built, dubbed the Rebellion Mustang. This custom Mustang sports a seriously hot flame package with a wild paint job. There is a Street Scene body kit that makes this Mustang look like it's going to fly away. The 2010 Mustang Rebellion was put together by Mustang Depot. The special edition Rebellion Mustang was put together for the 2009 SEMA show, but inspired by the UNLV Rebels basketball team.
Under the hood is a three valve powerplant being pushed by a Paxton Novi2200 high output centrifugal supercharger. The powerful performance package produce 447 horsepower and 418 foot pounds of torque to the dyno with 13psi. I posted pictures of the interior as well if you're interested. It's definitely not your usual Mustang, some Mustang enthusiasts say it looks more like a tuner car then a muscle car, but I still think it looks pretty cool.
It's a miracle to find a muscle car like this in the middle of Beijing China. This is a black 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, considered the most powerful Mustang ever built, putting 662 horsepower to the rear wheels. You wouldn't believe how much a Mustang Shelby GT500 costs in China, due to the gray market a Shelby GT500 sells for 1.248 million yuan or $197,000 USD. Most Mustangs are sold directly to Chinese dealers by American dealers on the U.S. West Coast.
Short little awesome video with some beautiful 2004 Mustang SVT Cobras in it. It's really a collection of photos made into a video, but it's still pretty cool. The maker of the video shows his progress on his 2004 Mustang Cobra. Plan is SRA conversion, 2.9 whipple + crusher inlet, maximum motorsports suspension, and a hell of alot more. The turnout will be really good, I guarantee it.
A Mustang owner over on SVT performance forums pieced together this nice package of a 2004 Mustang GT. He's flaunting a custom Lamborghini orange paint job with a 03-04 SVT cobra Mustang body kit and Saleen spoiler, the package sits nicely on the 2004 Mustang GT, it really spices it up. I like how the owner of the Mustang decided the paint the roof black, as a goes well with the tint job and black FR500 wheels. But honestly I prefer the 2003 chrome cobra wheels.
Ford has just released some really cool photos of the 2014 Ford Mustang and Shelby GT500. It's kind of late since the 2014 Mustangs have already hit dealer's lots. But I guess it doesn't matter since most Mustang fans are geared up for the 2015 Mustang photos. The only new changes for 2014 were two new colors and two new appearance packages. Mustang colors being Oxford White and Ruby Red. Mustang appearance packages FP6 for V6 owners and FP8 for V8 owners. Don't below are some beautiful photos and pictures of these new colors on the 2014 Mustang.
Even to this day, the 2003 2004 SVT Cobra Mustangs are feared among many other car enthusiasts out on the road. Still one of the best bang for your buck, this is a muscle car that can pump out 500 horsepower with only a few modifications.
I was doing a little searching online for Cobra Mustang pictures, when I came across this gorgeous photo of a comp orange SVT Cobra Mustang Terminator. I love the rear end stance of the 2003 2004 SVT Cobra Mustangs, it's just so bad ass. The wide drag radial tires add a lot of muscle to the car. And anyone who loves the nickname of the 2003 2004 Cobra Mustangs will love the license plate. It's definitely worth saving on your hard drive and setting the photo as your desktop background for awhile.
The Dubai Police Department just added some American muscle to its multimillion dollar fleet of police cars. A new Roush Mustang has been added, along with the Chevy Camaro. Other sports cars include the Bentley, Lamborghini, and Aston Martin. In all honesty this isn't surprising for Dubai, do to its rich oil industry driven economy. One thing's for sure, anyone who chooses to run from the cops will be caught.
Some fresh photos have rolled in on Jalopnik automotive blog, supposedly this is a 2014 Mustang with guts from a 2015 Mustang. It's been spotted that this Mustang is sporting a independent rear suspension, so it's assumed that the Mustang will be getting IRS for 2015. While most European car enthusiasts will love this upgrade, I'm not sure if many American Mustang enthusiasts will. A solid rear axle is always better for drag racing, a common sport that many participate in over here in the states. But hey, each sports car that has an IRS hooks of differently. Hopefully the 2015 Mustang will be better for the drag strip, however I know this new IRS upgrade will be good for the track.
